The history of the house goes back to 1707, when the Tudor style house was built as a winegrower’s house. The oak wood for the wooden structure was imported from the Black Forest at that time. Uhwiesen has always been an area where vines were grown. The location on the southern slope of the Kohlfirst is ideal for growing vines, a similar sunny location as on the “Côte d’Or” in Burgundy France. When you stay at the inn, forget to visit the individual winemakers and enjoy their specialties in peace.
We have been running the inn “Les Mignardises” since 2010, which translates as “The delicacies”, why this name? Over the years we have collected a lot of art objects and pictures and show them on the premises, like in a small museum.
If you are planning a hiking holiday in the mountains, discover our second Hotel Schöntal in Filisur in the Albula valley in Parc Ela
We look forward to your visit.
